“An intrinsic self, entwined within the universe, in an interactive field of meaning and knowledge.” This orientation is the “bridge” for me, as I’ve seen, considering both halves of the Rational and Holistic aspects of the brain, rather than just saying “The Ego and the Id.” Its also a bit more action orientated here, with the Life World within the Greater World.
Moving out of the rational, with intent, the context of experience becomes enhanced, not just a reflection of the material/social world, past those externalizations, opposites, “triggers!”
Due to a better mood, that would of been her, yes.
In a major significant synchronicity in speaking of this Intermediate level:
“Imagination defined as a spiritual faculty and the necessity of the mundus imaginalis as an intermediate world respond to the need of a conception which considers the worlds and the forms of Being as so many theophanies (tajalliyatilahiya).” (p. xi)
Spiritual Body and Celestial Earth, Henry Corbin, Bollingen Series, Princeton University Press, 1977.
“This is to say that the mundus imaginalis is the place, and consequently the world, where not only the visions of the prophets, the visions of the mystics, the visionary events which each human soul traverses at the time of his exitus from this world, the events of the lesser Resurrection and of the Greater Resurrection “take place” and have their “place,” but also the gestes of the mystical epics, the symbolic acts of all the rituals of initiation, liturgies in general with all their symbols, the “composition of the ground” in various methods of prayer (oraison), the spiritual filiations whose authenticity is not within the competence of documents and archives, and equally the esoteric processus of the Alchemical Work, in connection with which the First Imam of the Shi’ites
was able to say “Alchemy is the sister of Prophecy.” Finally the “Biographies of Archangels” are by their nature imaginal history,
since everything in them happens in the Malakut.” (p. xi)

“Mundus” is a Latin word meaning “world,” “universe,” or “globe,” encompassing both the physical earth and the broader concept of society or the cosmos.
In Latin, mundus is a masculine noun of the second declension, often used to refer to the entire world, mankind, or the universe. It can also carry a metaphorical sense, representing society, civilization, or the worldly realm.
In Stoic philosophy and other classical schools, mundus was used to describe the universe as a harmonious, ordered system. During the scientific revolution, the term was applied in astronomy to describe celestial bodies and the cosmos
In summary, mundus conveys both the tangible world and the abstract concept of order, society, or the universe, making it a versatile term in Latin literature, philosophy, and later scientific discourse
So, rather than just “behaviors,” externalizations, in our two-way nervous system with the inputs and outputs as I put it, the sensory and processing systems, for instance, we get the “manas,” with its associated development of self-awareness, and forms of identity . . . as we engage ourselves within this, with intent kicking in, we get the higher manas.
Moving from the “apparent,” going with the flow, engaging themes, one’s core revealing knowledge, insights, as one becomes more mindful within inner silence . . . manifestations and activations of more intrinsic options.
I was also re-looking at those generic colloquial themes, since people around me were still involved with them, in a variety of current situations, and also looking back at people with their various similar orientations that I never understood or considered. If my attitude of curiosity is here though, one can move along in a more sophisticated manner.
Intent and the figure/ground can reveal one’s more multifaceted holistic orientations, see what one has been missing. This is what one sees in meditation, like in Buddhism, Muslim. This is also what I was realizing I had to do . . . time to go past the “colloquial psychoanalysis!” The west is only trying to “select,” “symbolize,” that “opposite part.” Being hypocritical, they thought I was being “selective!” I had to quit worrying about those “externalizations, only.
Non-attachment . . . the arising stream of the manifest and un-manifest.
Activations.
Psychological/philosophical speaking, there are varied emerging arising hierarchical experiences, meanings, within this overall superordinate context, the Life World within the Greater World, from the typical to the enhanced
Changes of ordinary dreaming; ie, pulling out of the typical generic ways . . . the deeper levels, creative . . . but they still started from the ordinary world, situations . . .
These liminal states, just happening . . . then me with Stage 2 kickng in . . . there were a few states, themes emerging here:
It was like I was seeing this large reddish semi emerging, and the context was all psychedelic reddish as well. I later saw an an associated down to earth looking profile of some one I knew. Then further down the line, it was like I was a nervous young boy, or man, driving a vehicle away from this, with a monstrous human outline arising and standing in the back seat. So, lets say this was about the dead and or dying, and looking back on the past trying to deal with this, and them, triggered by something I was involved in at the time. Conversely, in a presentation down the line, I was a part of a tough group walking along . . . changes of the situation, and or parts of my personality?
I was calmly moving along with a woman next to me: we were on a path emerging with this circular formation of paths, with various entrances and exits from it. There were various groupings of spots with stuff and oriental women, working them. My comment to my companion was, “They think we are one of the insiders.” Going to the till at the grocery store. Likewise, with someone I knew, doing that, it was like I was later drawn to attending to these small delicate almost crystalline figures. Her son had his turn too, in a more dramatic way.
There was another unfolding theme in which a comment, instruction was made: “Say the Magic Word, there’s hills beyond those five!” Don’t know where this came from, but it was liminal. Words from the book?
So, in considering that flow, as starting in the body during meditation, one’s multifaceted nature is unveiling as one’s mindfulness becomes more centered and pronounced. One’s attention gets drawn into these various inputs and outputs: it becomes a point of energetic interest and consciousness, like what I seen during my cat’s spiritual presence. I see that the Buddhists only seem to speak only of the presence of a good energy. I got the figure/ground as a concept for this point, the “assemblage point,” “form and energy;” but its also in interaction with something more encompassing . . . The Life World within the Greater World . . . The Third Attention!
Form can be like something distinct, an object; but within our consciousness, intentionality, its open to transformation.
What have I got? . . . “A mutual arising of Self and Existence,” and within a loftier context these days, beyond the down to Earth world, “The Life World within the Greater World.” “An intrinsic self, entwined within the universe, in an interactive field if meaning and knowledge.” There’s more intrinsic activations possible than from one’s typical social/emotional context, orientation, physical body/reality, etc., that “explain things.” Knowledge! Where one’s intentionality wishes to be. These extensions, touching the beyond . . .
People in the external world are looking for that separate generic symbol, behavior, control. I thought our intrinsic nature is just to “touch the beyond” in a sensitive manner, not adjust it to suit one’s nature. Touching the beyond, fusion in Yoga. Our higher self operates in this interconnected way.
Likewise, rather than getting caught up in an either/or battle, I’ve been trying to be more “contextual,” relating to our more multifaceted nature instead. True, certain aspects may still be difficult to deal with though! I may end up with my own interpretation, theme here as well, in relation to these extensions.
Symbolically, this next step beyond the either/or battle, would be like the “eye” at the vertex of the pyramid, with its base of orientations, only two or four like a mandala?
I can be a trickster too though! Those entities look for the “formations” of that down to earth symbolism, as a comparison. They are stalking the “lower end;” but they get surprised when I become “awake” and show some skills. I think intent itself is the core, what counts, who you really are. Though its surprising to see one’s varied “intrinsic forms,” within one’s true identity, as they emerge. I made some big steps here.
I also looked back at some of those typical personality issues and understood more of what they mean; what I needed or wanted with those potentials of personality, and then understood how I was actually involved there.
Rather than an either/or reaction towards a situation, I changed my body/identity . . . a dog . . . now there a unique way of changing one’s perspective in dealing with a situation, lol, !!
I was wearing this orange garment, like a monk’s, or a Jedi Knight. Some entity said this could “explode” if I pushed it too far. I agreed; but then there was another presentation of it, identically, in numerous clear oblong glass shells that stretched in a linear fashion towards the distance into infinity. Thought I needed a shield?
“One who practices Sufism is called a Sufi, or dervish, or faquir. Sufi has several meanings in Arabic, including “pure” and “wool.” (Early Sufis wore simple wool cloaks in addition to seeking inner purity.) Dervish is a Persian term derived from dar, or “door.” It refers to one who goes from door to door. (Many dervishes used to go from house to house, begging for food or lodging.) It also means one who is at the threshold (between awareness of this world and awareness of the Divine). Faqir is Arabic for a poor person. In Sufism this does not refer to those poor in worldly goods, but to those who are “spiritually poor,” that is, those whose hearts are empty of attachment to anything other than God.” (p. 2)

Rather than distant static like on an old TV set, I was involved, engaged within it. “Its alive!”
In another experience, similar locale, it was like I was clenching my fist into that flow of stuff.
This lighted image of the blinds across a window . . . my room, as I lied there? Sweet!
“The Immediate Target Technique” . . . “This method uses nearby locations or objects as anchors to guide your consciousness outward. Rather than imagining distant worlds or abstract destinations, you bring your attention to something within your immediate environment—the bedroom door, a window, another room, or even a familiar object across the space. The key is to let your awareness shift away from the physical body, toward that point of focus.” 9p. 106)

Attempting to quiet the inner dialogue, what I thought I had to do. As a representative perspective, it was like I was viewing and turning the pages of this colorful, with an inner sheen, mystically designed, transcendental book. “My buk!”
As if I was attempting to focus on this blue body of water . . . photography? It was as if I was seated within a vehicle, looking to the passenger side where there was no door and I was seeing the sky or space. Waterton?
People interactions, or animals, enter the picture. It was like I had a change of intent, perspective, and I was seeing from above the downstairs entrance, with a black tail almost out of sight under the wall.
After a length of time it was like an attractive looking woman emerged within my space: she was from “out there,” not inside my head. Later, I also began seeing these gorgeous artistic objects, and as if I could feel them with my hand. Likewise, in a another situation down the line, it was like I was viewing this batch of color and had the thought of this attractive young woman at the coffee shop, and with a mutual interest, focus of intent, those colors lit up in a very exquisite way.
There was this personal cognizance with the thought of “Well, there you are.” As I moved towards this person, I eventually found a man sitting there from the back, looking the other way, dressed in these grey coveralls or uniform, with a lighter horizontal stripe around the back. To get to know him better I examined his looks. The boss as a reference for this entity out there?
I’m beginning to see how the energy dynamics and structures are related to one’s down to earth forms and considerations. I had an extension, activation, into another space: with that focus it was like I was connected with a blue box. Later, there was this drama in which I saw Jamie and her little self ”working” on something. Her story of her accident as a child on a slide in the playground must have caught my interest in a deeper way. And what did we buy . . . blue luggage sets! Precognitive?
