With the Life World within the Greater World, I can think a bit differently about my life directions and what they mean. Within this active approach, its more than just the typical person dealing with the nasty, the unconscious, but the enhanced with better understandings.
I’m at the level of the extended self now, no matter what . . . I can do a redo here.
Its a system of interpretation, knowledge; its more than just the shape of the person and society, something even greater than that. There’s a more intrinsic form of identity and reality activated here.

We’re more than a sliver of a self that has a repressed part . . . with the problem of differentiation and the social adjustment. (Typical of our level of development.) There’s a higher function, higher adjustment. Moving with the totality of our functioning. There’s other ways.
You could say there is an aspect of self, which we normally consider as ourself, involved in a certain focus/reality. There’s another higher-up aspect of self that’s aware of it, and other possibilities. This is where the potentials of a wider reality or consciousness is possible. The knowledge, guidance we can encounter here in this greater realm. Not just dream symbols, feelings; but the synchronicity, experiencing and knowing in another way.
I was considering that basic level of the assemblage point. All conscious life must have this energy, like the “Earth form,” per se. Humans can play with it; but they tend to think selective only. There is that ongoing flow of interactive energies though, the Life World within the Greater World, with various levels and approaches.
It was like I broke through this down to Earth space, the games people play, into another activated spaces. It was like I caught the attention, by surprise, of this military type who turned his head to look in my direction. Then it was like I came into the presence of this aboriginal man, with his horse, in the river valley: it was all in black.
During another time, it was like I lifted my hand up, a Magical Pass, and as if I was causing a shady rectangular object to ascend, then the associated contextual space became activated.
The coffee shop is often chaotic, and I want to move along. It was like I was at a party in the park: I often go there to finish off my coffee. Likewise, it was like driving my vehicle became the activated situation, opening, for I’ll also go for a drive instead.
The current . . . not just mind and matter, or matter and energy, with the conscious/unconscious . . . though, it seems even other worlds, energies, and bodies could be here too. Lets take it up to a more active conscious intelligent level . . . form and energy, intent. Its time for the West to move up to the higher forms of functioning . . . “Intentionality.”
Energy at the “separate position,” its there, probably what the old sorcerers were interested in, could be called the assemblage point.
For us, the body-ego first, then the separate encapsulated mental aspect; but at these further activations, that are connected/interconnected, its something else, further along, and mutually arising . . . integrative.
Even current psychology says this sensory input is moved up to attention first, then interpreted.
“The shamans of ancient Mexico found out,” he replied, “that every part of the human body is engaged, in one way or another, in turning this vibratory flow, this current of vibration, into some form of sensory input. The sum total of this bombardment of sensory input is then, through usage, turned into the system of interpretation that makes human beings capable of perceiving the world the way they do.” (p. 5)

It looks like for a start, the medieval Islamic philosophers were like the Greek philosophers, with the material world, then the “intelligible world,” mind and soul. They were aiming for “true felicity;” but the body was a problem: this is why they were interested in death, and passing on into the beyond. With the idea of imagination, the “image world,” the medieval Islamic philosophers were aiming for the middle ground. Meditation is more experiential?
“Because the intellectual part of the soul, or simply, the intellectual soul, is simple and detached from matter, its perception is “true, necessary, universal, everlastingly, permanent, eternal, and delightful,” which makes this faculty the most noble of all. True felicity, therefore, is the maximum use of the faculty of intellection. To use this faculty to its maximum is, however, impeded during our lifetime. This impediment is our body. It is at this point that the ethical part of the soul, as being the one who controls the body, comes into play.”
“As for the souls of simpletons and the pious . . . they will find salvation and will become attached to the celestial bodies because of the natural inclination of souls for those bodies. There they will behold beautiful forms.”
“The in-between place that Suhrawardī has in mind, where souls neither have to suffer nor experience true felicity, turns out to be an actual place in the spatial sense: the celestial world. There they will have perception “as they would have in the common sense,” meaning, similar to the sensory perception we have during our Earthly lives.”

I have this intermediate realm as well, this image world expanded upon, with intent and the figure/ground, the Life World within the Greater World.
Associated imagery . . . form and energy . . .
- A noise, then my kitten’s image, and later a line of bluish energy . . .
- Me walking, within an associated purple energy . . .
- Energies . . . like seeing my cat’s outline in the dark, but surrounded by an energetic aura . . .
- A woman’s image, but with a moving linear ”scale” in purple energetic lighting moving up next to her . . .
My relation to how I felt in bed was changing . . . as my attention was active, and considering things, being drawn up in a new space, scene, and as if I was holding my comforter up in the air.
Though there was an experience, as if something else was beckoning, grabbing my attention inwardly, not just me using my imagination. As I orientated myself to that, there was an activation, as if I aligned myself with a new associated space, contextual: I saw a bright light, like a street light.
Likewise, the situation with Jamie . . . something pulled my mind towards an image of that spot where I pick up her up at her aunt’s. As I directed my attention towards that, suddenly there was a big energetic presence, light, to the right of that, big as a house, as if something was forcefully shining through a fence, which was slowly disappearing.
The situation had other elements, like work, and her son being there at one time, and as I struggled with all that, I suddenly got an “intent” image, with a bear considering me from the left, standing, as if he was looking over something, and a pleasant energetic space to the right. Ok, but like a gestaltist, I had to consider more of the parts, the pattern. Hard work, like I was driving a blue forklift . . . my scrubber? (which made me consider)
Later some energies strongly flowing, discharging, between some “bushy” elements.
A more positive inner space, in general . . .
Interconnected people spaces . . . the space opening, had a feeling, sensation, “presence” . . . I used my right hand as an orientation in one, like a wizard, which had a feeling of the spiritual. The other was like a mirrored phone interconnecting, with a woman’s profile emerging .
It seems I was like an astronaut, wearing this bulky suit, working at something with my hands. (bed sheets?) A chrome cylindrical object came in, like the Hubble telescope, with a long metallic cable reaching back out into the distance: I examined the glowing bluish lighted insides of it. Later, it like I was studying a lighted bluish room.
Like looking down into my cleaned coffee cup, with a round clean space at the bottom, with Jamie.
