Synchronicity

A big synchronicity here with “The Gesture of Balance!”

So, there are a variety of ascending levels one might see within us, similarly in the ascending levels of the nervous system and the brain, to the Yogic chakras and energy systems. Likewise, Maslow’s ascending hierarchy of needs functions within this as well. As far as this evolution, and involution goes, Washburn, considering identity for instance, put this into his unique rewritten psychoanalytic context. Then, I came up with my own perspectives here, of moving up and activating these greater realities.

“The first element is the physical structure or ‘body pattern’ though which energy flows. The second we call ‘breath’-but it is not just breath. It has a quality of motility; it is a moving, flowing sort of energy. The third element is the ‘subtle body energy’ . . . “

You might say, becoming more developmental, rather than just critical, I’ve worked on a few things in the functioning of our multifaceted nature, and extended consciousness, etc. Time to go beyond our idea levels only: there are other more active levels, which are included in those other systems, as well.

“This feeling of expansion is much more powerful than the physical sensation of joy-it is deep, vast, infinite. Our bodies and breath may feel very small, but our mind’s experience-without words or concepts-many different tones and qualities, beautiful images, and even deeper subtleties.”

This intermediate zone, between matter and spirit . . . its a bit of a open question on how we function here . . . lots of complaints from religions about matter . . . Psychology may have started with the idea of body and consciousness . . . its got to the point though where even here its become all material, body and environment only, behavior . . . I get wary when I see those setting up an “externalization” . . .

There is that one more advanced level though, intent and figure/ground, as a newer starting point. Its the West’s turn now.

“At certain times when we are very relaxed, positive energies increase so that we can actually ‘feel’ internal and external space become one, as though our bodies were dropping away … we lose the impression of solidity.”

The essence . . .

Who am I, really?

Externalization tends to simplify it . . . so as to make easy cross references? If this was behaviorism, I see it as trying to make things definable, or objective. I took experimental psychology courses.

Are you actually simplifying me instead?

So, we’re not just like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; but more like “me and my multifaceted Self.” This began in the hippy days for me: I just had no ways to understand it well back then.

Ya, I’ve gone beyond the selective only, like just seeing only a material object, towards the figure/ground perspective, with consciousness and energy.

Likewise, beyond the mind of ideas only, into functioning with intent . . .

“In this way we can learn how to expand awareness. First, on the physical level, through massage and physical exercises; second, on the mental level, through breathing and experiencing these feelings more deeply; and third, on the level of subtle awareness, through direct experience. When we taste that feeling, we find that the feeling itself has become infinite!”

At that basic personal blocked level, when I applied attention there, it all changed. Despite an inward first look, it became multidimensional: it was like I was in another space, like being within that Jar, which opened up into something bigger, external, multidimensional.

“The quieter you become, the more energy you can feel. In this way, you can experience your body as open space, and live within that feeling.”

There was the outline of a smokey entity there: he was unveiled. This was something I may have always wanted to do.

With intent, moving ahead, one gets out of the fight/flight orientation, into something stronger, a focus that delineates whatever situation one is involved with . . . puts it in a unique perspective.

For instance, when I was wondering if there was a woman who could actually deal with these situations, “I got an image, entered a soothing space, of Leanna holding up her hand towards this galaxy of sparkly things within a flowing tear drop space, as if she was relating to them, controlling them.”

I guess I thought she was a toughy.
