The ego, in separate mode, only had the other as its companion, and that could be nasty. The figure within the ground, is much more multifaceted, and has much more in interaction and connection with it. Rather than just one thin ephemeral line leading into the past, we are more like a jig saw puzzle with all these contributing, interactive parts, with flows of meaning and energy, from the bigger picture.

Its not just the average person recalling what happened in the past, as if that was the cause of present things; but bringing back alive all those variegated aspects of our multidimensional existence, which are still interconnected, influential, being able to touch upon and use all of it.

So, rather than just some shady elements in the wings, through a change of orientation, there’s the potential for experiencing and being part of some integrated further parts. Form and energy. We’re a part of greater reality, not separate. That’s what I’ve been learning about, working on. The Life World within the Greater World.

That’s what Jung was doing . . . bringing it all back to life . . . active imagination!

Moving into those core moves, connected/interconnected with those intrinsic greater parts of oneself, rather than with those external, colloquial modes . . . from the generic to the essential. People are needed; but they are have to be orientated properly as well. They have their games.

With these extensions, shifts of intent, the results can be quite specific, realistic, with enhanced feelings, motivations, and meanings. Its related to one’s core, and its next locus, not just random stuff coming in for the average self. Some try to simplify it, to fit into their perspectives; but that tends to be like putting a square block in the round hole . . . doesn’t quite fit. The experience, world and self, takes on a more sophisticated shape.

So, moving past the generic . . . one size fits all . . . that’s what we are getting with you, in your “externalizations.” This is sort of what I had to compensate for.

Ah, to be one’s real self . . . you shouldn’t complain here . . .

So, you could say, I was working on those new orientations I was touching upon, and also being confused by all the lowly other stuff people were bringing in. Shadows, yea, but there was also something much more perspicacious. Hard to get it together. Once I understood about the “externalizations,” and “the interactive field of meaning and knowledge,” getting you, and me in, at a more robust level, I was on my way.

Ya, the “externalized” isn’t enough. When I started to wake up, look around, it really stirred up the pot. There’s the fallacy that your system of yours does it all, leads the way, etc. . . . but not if you are just being generic, colloquial. I was seeing reality, becoming more sane. There’s another more intrinsic orientation; and I even had an explanation for it.

There’s some other possible orientations here, other targets, and more personal, intrinsic connections with people. I was thinking of the “abstract” first, and then came in the idea of enhanced notions of mind and consciousness . . . ! ! ! Carried me through. I had to keep that orientation in which I was dealing more with my own inner significance . . . not as if someone else could come in, take control and do more for me . . . not much of a real connection here, just a tangent. Took the battle of the public/private, and authenticity, to a much more sophisticated level!

Moving from the “given,” to the enhanced, and the fullness. An interactive field of meaning and knowledge. Life worlds within the Greater World.

Ah, this compares to my life world, within the greater world . . . though, its pretty much literal, in my case. There are activations, of various perspectives: its not just symbolic.

There was a quote, which I can’t find now, along the lines of:
“Was that a dream Don Juan?
No, but you were Dreaming.”

This symbol you had of me, and what I was up to, your colloquial psychoanalysis . . . looks like I’m your ugly duckling now, and I’m evolving into other areas. Its amazing you never considered me for these higher moves, guiding me, helping for growth and maturity. It sort of boils down to, you didn’t know how: so doing your thing holds me back. Its like I had to be an undercover guerilla warrior, within your system, to move on: then you wondered what I was doing. There are other ways: I bet those foreigners can hear what I’m saying, and see what you are doing. They know.

Its all about the proper functioning.

Self-aware, and abstracted . . . the elements of the study of psychology.

This abstraction, its more than just an idea in the head . . . its models of the external world, “internalized.”  “Representations of reality.” Its not just thoughts, thinking; its more like lived, fully operational programming, the script. Though, when one is rational only, there can be problems.

(So, I was probably just hitting a stage, developmental, biological, psychological, in which I began to investigate this. It was totally natural.)

I discovered that there are other forms of functioning involved here: we’re active, and are a part of the bigger picture. One can see for oneself, that there are other levels, ways of being, the bigger picture, a more intrinsic self. One did, saw!

So, what I was working towards: its not just the small ego in face of the opposing, overwhelming bigger, or external world . . . your psychology; but being an integral part of the bigger picture, a part of the whole. That’s what I was aiming for . . . its real! We could of got together and got to work on the relationship between the life world within the greater world. Moving from the variegated aspects of the typical down to earth self, for better or worse, to the connected/interconnected experience of the other parts, greater parts, activations of the more integral self, an enhanced self.

With intent and figure/ground, as a rule of thumb, it becomes a literal thing, this life world within the greater world. Once I understood that sense of an interactive field of meaning and knowledge, I was saved! This integral ground of meaning, not just people saying he’s this or that. The greater meanings is the reason for doing things, the task, the motivation.

These “representations of reality” are pretty much a literal thing, not just an idea floating around in the head of a person in the supposed real physical world. They are like a set of googles, a program we live. We are not seeing reality directly; though there are other ways to reconnect here as well. Its “where one is at,” the current assemblage of meanings, personalities, worlds, etc., within an even greater reality. Greater meanings come through in a variety of ways, internally and externally, like dreaming, since we are also within a greater consciousness. We are on this personal voyage within a greater reality.

We’re more than a person within the physical world: we are also acting within a life world within an even greater world. There are enhanced, greater orientations. The system, per se, is bigger, more sophisticated.
