Extensions

As far as those representations of reality go, there are extended contexts. One can move one’s locus of the internalizations/externalizations from the external world, social world, to the Ground, per se, as with the figure/ground. That’s what I was doing, working upon.

There are extended contexts, other parts to the jig saw puzzle: the down to earth internalization/externalization dialect is only one part.

Through enhanced functioning one can become more multifaceted. There’s a different part to oneself that is operating here. Its a literal thing. Pretty much our essential self.

Looking to the more integral connections/interconnections of this self with the Greater World and/or consciousness. . . extended . . . enhanced, the Real, auspicious meanings.

With these extensions, shifts of intent, the results can be quite specific, realistic, with enhanced feelings, motivations, and meanings. Its related to one’s core, and its next locus, not just random stuff coming in for the average self. Some try to simplify it, to fit into their perspectives; but that tends to be like putting a square block in the round hole . . . doesn’t quite fit. For the experiences, world and self, takes on more sophisticated shapes.

So, moving past the generic . . . one size fits all . . . that’s what we are getting with you, in your “externalizations.” This is sort of what I had to compensate for.

Ah, to be one’s real self . . . you shouldn’t complain here . . .

Moving from the apparent, its not just symbolism coming in for the passive ordinary self; its a complete redrawing of the situation due to the extended locus of the intrinsic self. . . a new perspective on its actions . . . knowledge and symbolism from its current extension. Its related to the moves towards the more intrinsic, real, extended, enhanced loci of the intrinsic self.

Even if I was starting from my limited perspectives, there can be alternatives. I even started from the colloquial perspectives, and worked from there. “I” didn’t change much; but what was going on in my head, dreams for instance, were influenced. As noted before: “As we develop an idea of the world, we develop an idea of ourselves at the same time; but its more than an idea, its more like a self-propagating configuration of experience, a node of programming control, ego.” I had an experience in which I seemed to be examining myself with the thought,”I used to do that.” The cool thing is the image changed, as if I was turning on the lights, the lights of understanding.

Recently, I had an image of an outline of the face, though in an artistic way, bluish, with those old pop art abundance of patterns and forms emerging from the top of the head . . . symbolic of the more. Later, I laid down again, and I had a quick internal representation, schematic,  of my condo; but I also had a quick focus of intent, as if I was looking out my door. Close to earth, but more.

Another experience came, after the first of those later experiences, that was more comprehensive. It was like I was standing there, with my palms up turned in front of me: I was holding this oblong object of energy, and I had this wonderful feeling of this being special. Light and energy was in that night. It was a change of the “me and the situation,” not just something in the head of the average me. Being there, experiencing that, is self-explanatory to a large extent.

There were other previous more comprehensive experiences of myself, in which I was engaged in observing an ongoing situation: first, a smile from a mature sophisticated woman; then I began watching a crowd of people climbing up a steep cliff, and all the feelings and sensations of that climb I was feeling in my own body, as if I was up there too. There was a dark hole in the cliff: a cable and basket was there, and a baby was quickly hauled up: I could feel that too. Just saw an episode of Expedition Unknown in which there were cave dwellings high up like that, made by Buddhists. Remember that digging dream and the monk? Kind of synchronous. There also may have been some approaching personal activities related to this too. Experiences are multifaceted!
