So, I guess for me, it was all about working on the notion of the “active mind,” intentionality, seeing how I could fit in within the current systems as I understood them, and seeing what it could do for me.
To go beyond the typical “passive mode” . . . the ego idea, with other symbols and ideas coming in from another part of consciousness, that may be wiser, bigger. Even here though, there seems to be an interaction of knowledge. Its more than just ideas or symbols floating around: its a system of knowledge, an “abstraction.” That’s recognized these days. The “apparent.”
My starting point here was the figure/ground. We are still distinct, individual; but its more than an idea: its form. Its also interrelated with everything else: the other parts are not separate, but connected somehow. These images are more than just images. They may be symbolic; but they could have other qualities, like a “re-draw,” or an enhancement to one’s typical “orientation.” Almost literal, or a better view. Potentially, the changes, alternatives, are much more intensive.
How are people then and their situations presented from this higher perspective? Can we go beyond what is the typical source of crap for people?
As an example, and a start. I recall having the thought of one of the workers at the store. Suddenly I had the image of this wondrous Art Nouveau structure, whitish, ornate, like a curved arched doorway! The first ever, for me.
